Over the past 12 years Karen has built up a successful consultancy practice advising clients on a wide range of issues surrounding health, well-being, and lifestyle. Whilst raising two children, now ages 28 and 26, Karen pursued her dream and successfully qualified as a Nutritional Therapist.

In Karen’s earlier career she regularly provided keep-fit sessions on breakfast television and was a regular contributor on Nutrition and health on BBC Radio Scotland. Karen is passionate about food and believes that healthy eating will provide a long and happy life. Karen believes that this can be achieved by making sensible food and lifestyle choices and her skills in this area are now in great demand throughout the country.

She lectures on a wide variety of health topics and is in regular demand throughout the UK. Karen is also a qualified Seasonal Yoga Instructor, Macrobiotic Health Coach and Chef. For the past 5 years she has been writing and teaching a Plant based Nutrition Course called Be Lean Eat Green Nutrition with Dr Jane Jamieson her friend and Colleague, this was an opportunity to bring their combined knowledge together and offer a course that is both comprehensive and honest. The course was originally written for the fitness industry, but it is also open to anyone who is interested in broadening their knowledge of nutrition. We have taught the course to various therapists, yoga instructors, personal trainers, gym owners and it has also been used as CPD hours by many health professionals. It is a great course for anyone considering a career in nutrition, it is a good introduction. Karen believes that it is important to pass on her knowledge.
