Prior to training at the Irish College of Homoeopathy in Dublin, I worked in a high-pressure blue-chip environment in London and Sydney. This and the experience of motherhood convinced me of the value of balance in life. I have witnessed profound change in myself and my patients of all ages through this gentle and effective medicine.

Homoeopathy is a system of medicine based on treating the individual with highly diluted substances given as tiny pills or drops which trigger the body's natural system of healing. Based on how you experience your symptoms, I will match the most appropriate medicine to you.

Many of my patients are people with long-term painful, chronic problems which have failed to respond to conventional treatment. I also treat several people with mental and emotional issues and have a special interest in hormonal imbalances as this is an area of medicine particularly suited to the delicate approach of homeopathy.

My job as a homoeopath is to stimulate your body’s own healing response to its symptoms. The patients who do well are those who are in control of their own healing. I therefore encourage all my patients to watch their symptoms, get in tune with their bodies and contact me when things change.

I will not chase you for appointments, the worst thing about ill health is how undermining it becomes and how turning ourselves over to consultants and specialists can make us feel helpless. I love how empowering it feels to notice when your body works best and what causes it to struggle and will give you the tools to manage your own health. The more you look after yourself - the fewer times you will need to see me.

I have been a registered member of the Scottish Association of Professional Homeopaths since starting practice in 2011 (MSAPH) I adhere to their strict code of ethics and hold professional insurance, having passed the rigorous interview and clinical requirements before being admitted. I am a member of the UK-wide Association of Registered Homeopaths (MARH) and maintain contact with my College in Ireland in order to keep abreast of training and development opportunities. On top of this, I work at the Natural Clinic in my local town of Crieff and through this role receive regular training in nutrition and supplements as I find these can be a great support in maintaining the good health of the patients in my practice.

Disclaimer: As a classical homeopath I do not diagnose, treat or prescribe for any particular symptom, disease or condition. Instead, I work on increasing the general vitality and constitutional strength of those who seek my advice. I am a professional homeopath and not a medical team, and therefore those who work with me must retain the services of a primary care physician for appropriate evaluations and check-ups for themselves and/or their children.
