Known For:
Veronica is a mother, family physician, speaker and Clinical Director/Founder of Scotland's first truly integrative general practice @westbournemedicalstudios, (clinical and alternative medicine).
Veronica is also Founder of @singinghealth and Founding Member of InnerHealthCoalition - bringing a special modality of singing as therapeutic bridge for healing to her practice.
What Are You Looking Forward To?
Since I opened Westbourne Medical Studios I can hand on heart say that I look forward to every single day, to walking into the unknown and experiencing a new adventure and encouraging my patients to open up to hope, healing and healthier outlooks. We are a truly integrative medical clinic combining ancient and allopathic medicine with the aim of walking hand in hand with our clients, encouraging them to thrive in every way possible - mind, body and soul.
I would love to see many more people reach a level of optimal mind body health and wellness. In summary, I look forward to seeing my family and friends flourish and to see my clinic and our team expand and grow together, making more of a difference and gathering positive energies as we go. When our light shines, we illuminate the world around us and encourage others to do the same.
Who Inspires You?
People who inspire me include my two sons who teach me so much about life, by many of my patients for various reasons, by my team who work relentlessly to make the studios a place of positive healing energy and an inspiration in its own right, and by anyone who is brave enough to stick their neck out and make a difference.
There are so many grerat women in medicine who were true pioneers in difficult times, and of course so many musicians inspire me I couldn't name them all... Although, Nina Simone has to have a mention!
How Do You Define Success?
I'm not sure I do define success. If knowing you have done your very best to make a difference, being kind and compassionate along the journey and being content with the end result is success then that would be it for me.
